I am a 99 ovr pure sharpshooter, that meaning I could throw up a shot from almost anywhere on the court and you’ll hear nothing but . silence and the sound of the ball going perfectly in the net. So my usual day is composed of many pick up basketball games in the park that I end up winning. I also Sometimes take the time to play in the NBA. I don’t tend to practice because there’s no improving my shot, no one else shoots better.
But one day as I was playing a game, and as soon as I shot I turned around expecting the ball to go in. But I Waited and I didn’t hear the sound of the ball hit the net and make that sweet swish sound. Had I lost it? was I not the best shooter in the game anymore? I quit the game to go practice my shot. And as soon as I got to the practice facility I missed again. It was driving me mad, I was no longer the best shooter. I had no motivation to play the game anymore knowing I wasn’t the best shooter. That one shot drove me mad. And since that missed shot I have not stepped foot on any basketball court knowing I am the worst shooter in the game now.
